The Sokhumi State University opens a Call
for Summer School “CSR in the Context
of Relations between the EU and Georgia” scheduled on 3-11 June
2024, in the frameworks of the European Union’s Jean Monnet Module (101083295-CSREU-ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH). The 2024 Summer School will consist of 34 hours of lectures (8 hours online and 26 hours in
presence).
Purpose of the Summer School is to encourage students to
get acquainted with the European Union, popularization of European
values, and to enhance students
education about actual issues such as: The EU: Past, Present and
Future. EU Instruments for Smart and
Sustainable Growth; Integration of Georgia with the EU: Contemporary Trends and Expected
Outcomes; CSR and Sustainable
Development: Georgia and EU; CER in the EU and etc.
Professors, recognized
specialists and leaders in the field both from Georgia and abroad will be
invited to the summer school.
Summer School is designed for students
of Sokhumi State University (both bachelor and master levels); It
is multidisciplinary,
which
will be discussed in the
summer school equally relevant and important for
students of different programs. A top-rated students
(who has the highest academic performance rate) will be selected for Summer School
(150 participants). The preference will be given to the internally displaced persons, also the youth
residing in occupied Abkhazia and to the
student who is actively involved in various activities (international, republic
and internal conferences) on behalf of the SSU. At the end of the course,
participants receive a certificate of participation. The detailed program of
the Summer School will be published on Sokhumi State University’s website. Participation in the Summer School is free. The working languages are Georgian
and English.
Summer School will be held in the Conference Hall (VII floor, Conference
Hall, 61 Politkovskaya str.) of the Sokhumi State University.
