The Academic Leader of the three-year Jean Monnet
Module "Georgian Peace Paradigm and EU Peacebuilding" is Professor
Zurab khonelidze, Manager of the project - Larisa Takalandze (Faculty of Business and
Social Sciences).
Module Objectives: The
general objective of the project is to improve quality of study programs at SSU
in the field of PeaceBuilding and European integration. Introduction of the
Module “Georgian Peace Paradigm and EU Peace building” will contribute to the
training of students at SSU; it will acquaint them with the experience of
Peacebuilding in the EU.
The object of studying is Georgian Peace Paradigm and
EU capabilities for peace building and conflict
prevention.
Relevant
Activities: The Module includes a new study course
"Georgian Peace Paradigm and EU Peacebuilding" for undergraduate students
and a Summer School "European Union Peace and Georgia” for both
undergraduate and postgraduate students; the Module includes research studies
and a number of events in Peacebuilding.
