Round table “Higher
Education for Sustainable Development Goals” was held at the Faculty of
Business Technologies of Georgian Technical University on October 15, 2024,
organized by the Faculty of Business Technologies.
The roundtable
discussion was attended by Professor Noe Khozrevanidze, Dean of the Faculty of
Sustainable Mountain Development of GTU, academic staff from various faculties
of GTU, scientists and researchers, and an invited guest from Sokhumi State
University, Jean Monnet Professor Larisa Takalandze.
Professor Larisa
Takalandze presented a report “Sustainable Development in Georgian Higher
Education Institutions and the Experience of the European Union” to the
audience and emphasized the importance of sharing the best practices and
experiences of the European Union.
After the
reports and presentations, a wide discussion, question-and-answer session and
exchange of views were held. Overall, the holding of an event of this format and the
future vision received great interest and approval.
